There are so many impacted by the economic fallout from COVID-19. In this state of emergency, our Governor has declared a rent moratorium for those struggling to pay to avoid having families displaced during this time.
This is only a postponement of rent due, it does not mean the rent is free. Your landlord likely has a mortgage that they are responsible for paying, so to avoid a huge amount of rent due at the end of the temporary 90 day period or placing hardship on your property owner, try to set up a payment plan; pay what you can.
