SKI & SNOWBOARD
Reno Tahoe has some of the best skiing and most scenic views around. With all of our sunny days, great snow and proximity to town, you can ski part of the day and have the rest to play. Our resorts start as elementary as the Sky Tavern Jr ski program, run by volunteers to Squaw Vally, home of the 1960 Winter Olympics and everything in between.
CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Reno Tahoe has plenty of roads and trails for cross country skiing. You can stick to the groomed trails or venture deeper into the Sierras.
Royal Gorge is home to North America’s largest cross-country ski resort. Tahoe Donner and Kirkwood also offer cross country skiing.
